You can enter an online request for an appointment with any Vet Rep in the state, link to job search sites and find information for VA counseling and healthcare, as well as other VA benefits information and serivce organizations throughout the state. Many people are not aware that they are eligible for full services with DOL Vet Reps while a husband or wife is deployed. Information is available for active services personnel, guard and reserve, veterans and military spouses to connect with employers, job fairs, virtual job fairs and job seeking advice. Unemployment Insurance Office: Unemployment compensation is a social insurance program designed to provide benefits to most individuals out of work, generally through no fault of their own, or for periods between jobs. In order to be eligible for benefits, jobless workers must demonstrate that they have worked, usually mesaured by amount of wages and/or weeks of work and must be able and available for work. The unemployment compensation program is based upon federal law, but administrered by states under state law. Forms and information may be obtained at any local One Stop Center and via the internet at the web site listed below.
