After-School/Summer Employment

If you're still in high school, there are other ways to get some work
experience before you enter the workforce full-time. Mowing lawns,
babysitting, ordering supplies, typing, working at a local restaurant or
retail store may not be your "dream job," but having an after-school or
summer job is a great first step. Many of the things you learn on these
jobs will be the same skills employers are looking for as you move
toward your career. Here are a couple of websites that can help you
learn more about after-school and summer employment:

For Parents
